Long-Jing Village used to be called "Long Mu Jing". In a narrow sense, it refers to the area near
Long-Quan Village. It is located in the western around Da-Du Mountain
¡Fits altitude is about ten meters to twenty meters. According to record of
Zhang-Hua Xian-Zhi, Long-Mu-Jing is seventeen kilometers from YiZhiBei. Its fountainhead has few inches high like PenYuHua. There are hundreds of farms which are irrigated by the fountain. The river is clear and sweet. The people there use the fountain. Beside it, there are two stones which are like dragon eyes. So it gets its name. In the early times, dragon fountain is used to brew tea and famous for certain time.
Before the village is developed, it belongs to the area of BuoLaPuBu PingPuZhu ShuiLiShe. During the KangXi times, its original view recorded in BiHaiJiYou is a virgin land. Duing YongZhen times, ZhangZhou people start to develop the area near QieTou. Until
QianLong times, more people from ZhangPu County come here and develop TuGeJue, ShanZaiJiao and so on. Ji family of An-Xi County immigrate from Wu-Qi to here and develop HaiPuChu. In the end, Han people villages are formed.
